SIM devices are ready to be used once assigned to a patient. To assign a device to a patient either enter the device ID during the patient enrollment (new patient) or add it in their profile tab (existing patient).
We suggest you take the patient’s initial reading and check that the data is flowing to the patient’s chart. If not, please check the correct device # has been used during the enrollment. If you need to correct it, you can do so in the patient’s profile tab.
Patients with SIM devices will receive a SMS with instructions on how to download Lara Health for Patients app the the same way Bluetooth device patients do. This is not yet enabled for SIM devices but in the near future, SIM device patients will be able to view and track their health data over time using the mobile app. Using Lara Health for Patients app is optional with SIM devices.
